Pendant plus de dix ans, Mariexxme s’est attelée à filmer les concerts de la plupart des groupes de la scène rock alternative. De cette expérience sortiront deux documentaires : l’un sur le groupe américain OXBOW et l’autre, nommé BACKSTAGE, qui est une véritable immersion dans la réalité souvent précaire de la scène indépendante.
Aujourd’hui, c’est par le biais de la photographie qu’elle nous invite (poursuivant par-là même la réflexion entreprise dans son dernier film) à plonger à nouveau dans le monde du rock actuel. Et toujours côté coulisses...
